Hardship
- Jadine Lydia
there will be times in life
when hardship swallows you whole,
let these times shift you, shape you
and mould you into the
diamond that you are.
A Confession
***
Life shocks,
Your whole existence rocks,
I don't know how you feel,
But I know that life's reel,
As it moves,astounds the most,
Of all things.
I failed miserably,
To shape my life skillfully,
To be with the world;
I don't know how you live,
I tried to seek,
A new world of my dream,
Though I was weak,
Yet I tried to find a way following my conscience;
But now I find it hard to breathe,
In a foreign field.
I have failed to make a path,
Though I have walked long,
Not counting at all how many miles I had covered;
I don't know if you reached your destination,
I have found none, and can't explain the reason,
Why I didn't get the favour of any season.
There are proud men and women
All those who are human,
On posts high or low
Wish to fly,want to grow.
But I am left with no ambition
To be powerful and get recognition.
Though I live a life obscure,
Yet I am happy that my soul is pure.
Yet I shall not cease to tread,
I promise,till I cease to breathe,
To find the elusive path,
In the dark dense forest full of thorny grass.

Ode to Life Struggles
Ode to thee, life’s rugged path,
Where trials and tribulations clash,
In the forge of sorrow, we are cast,
Yet through thy fires, we stand steadfast.
Hail to the shadows of our plight,
Where darkest hours breed our light,
In every tear and every fight,
We find our courage to ignite.
Oh, struggles, thy harsh embrace,
Molds our spirit, tests our grace,
In the crucible of your face,
We learn to cherish each embrace.
Thy storms, they batter, fierce and wild,
Yet from the tempest, we are styled,
A warrior’s heart, a resilient child,
Emerging stronger, undefiled.
When hope seems lost in deep despair,
And burdens weigh beyond compare,
Through thee, we learn to rise and bear,
A spirit bold, beyond repair.
For in thy trials, wisdom grows,
Through pain, a deeper love we know,
In every challenge, strength bestows,
A resilience that forever shows.
Ode to thee, relentless strife,
The sculptor of our very life,
Through thee, we find our way to thrive,
A testament to our will to survive.
In moments bleak, when light is thin,
We find the spark that lies within,
And from the ashes, we begin,
To forge anew, a life to win.
Oh, struggles, how we owe to thee,
The depths of our tenacity,
For through thy trials, we are free,
To become the best that we can be.
With gratitude, we sing thy song,
For through thy pain, we grow strong,
In life’s grand symphony, we belong,
Each note a testament to where we’ve gone.
So here’s to thee, life’s endless fight,
The dawn that follows every night,
In thee, we find our truest might,
And with thy forge, we burn bright.
“Shadows of Doubt”
In the valley of shadows deep,
Where restless souls often weep,
Courage is the beacon bright,
That transforms darkness into light.
“Broken Chains”
Bound by the chains of despair,
Seeking freedom in the air,
Each link shattered, we arise,
With new wings, we touch the skies.
“Echoes of Yesterday”
Memories of past mistakes,
Haunt us in their wake,
Yet from ashes, we emerge anew,
To chase the dreams we once knew.
The Road of Struggle
Life is a road both winding and steep,
Filled with promises we struggle to keep.
Some days shine bright with a golden light,
While others are covered by endless night.
I have walked through storms that shook my soul,
Chasing dreams that seemed impossible to hold.
The winds were fierce, the path unclear,
Yet I moved forward despite my fear.
There were moments when hope felt far away,
And darkness seemed determined to stay.
The weight of failure rested on my chest,
Testing my courage and my very best.
I stumbled often and fell to the ground,
Searching for answers that could not be found.
The world moved on while I stood still,
Trying to climb another difficult hill.
Many doubted the strength I possessed,
Many believed I would never progress.
Their words were sharp like arrows in flight,
But I learned to turn pain into my might.
Every scar became a lesson learned,
Every disappointment a bridge I earned.
The tears I cried became rivers of grace,
Guiding me toward a stronger place.
The poorest nights taught me gratitude,
The hardest days shaped my attitude.
When doors were closed and chances were few,
I discovered what determination can do.
I learned that success is not born in ease,
It grows through struggle like roots beneath trees.
The strongest branches reach toward the sky,
Because they survived every storm passing by.
Sometimes I walked completely alone,
Carrying burdens I called my own.
Yet in that silence I came to see,
The power hidden deep inside me.
The mountains before me seemed too high to climb,
But step by step I conquered them with time.
Not through luck or magic's embrace,
But through patience, effort, and steady pace.
Life never promised a journey smooth,
It never guaranteed an easy truth.
But every challenge along the way,
Prepared me for a brighter day.
Now when I look behind and see,
The roads that once frightened me,
I smile because those difficult years,
Built my strength through sweat and tears.
To anyone standing in struggle today,
Wondering if the pain will ever fade away,
Remember this truth, simple and clear:
Your breakthrough may be closer than it appears.
Keep walking forward though the road is long,
Keep believing when everything feels wrong.
The darkest hour eventually meets the dawn,
And every night gives birth to a new morn.
Your story is greater than your fears,
Greater than your failures and difficult years.
Hold your dreams tightly, refuse to let go,
For seeds of success through hardship grow.
One day you'll stand where you wished to be,
And realize how far you've come to see.
The struggle was not there to make you fall,
It was there to help you become it all.
So rise each morning with courage anew,
Trust in the journey you're traveling through.
For every challenge you face in life today,
Is building the person you'll become someday.
