Will You Be My Valentine

Will you be, my valentine again
Will you be, my sunshine, in rain
Will you be there, for me, forever
To hold my hand, when I need you, whenever
The walk that I, traced onto the road
It's been for you, not easy, to afford
But you've still been around, every bend, through every maze
And I know that's love, truth, aloud that says
You held me up, when my feet slipped on the ground
Pushed me hard, for every step to climb, till I found
You've been my strength, when I've felt lost even though I tried
All through my hardships, but you never left my side
I gave you love, that's all I have to give
But a woman does need, more than that to live
And I know I have been telling you, someday
I'll make you a queen, but still, haven't found a way
Guilty I am, I know, I've been, all this while
And it hurts, whenever you greet me with your loving smile
You gave your life, dedicating it to my cause
Trusting me, in those days, for the man I was
You kept your vows, while I'm trying to keep my end
Thus all these years, I still fail to comprehend
Is it just love that has held you back, you didn't leave
Or in those promises, we both vowed to keep, you still believe
What if I, can't build that castle that I promised
What if I, can't be that king, even till the end
Will my failures, from you ever be admonished
Your trust and love, for me, would you then amend
And if by chance we get to live this life again
And if we meet still so, on life's some busy lane
Would you still be my sunshine, to share it's joys and pain
Will you be my Valentine, darling once again

Strength Of A Friendship

You are my best friend; you belong in my heart.
We go through ups and downs, but still nothing can tear us apart.
I know you as a sister, and I will always care.
Love, respect, and trust are the things we share.

I know you as a person; I especially know you as a friend.
Our friendship is something that will never end.
Right now, this second, this minute, this day,
Our sisterhood is here, is here to stay.

My friendship with you is special and true.
When we are together, we stick like glue.
When I'm in the darkness that needs some light,
When you're by my side, I know things are all right.

Our friendship is so strong; it breaks down bars.
Our friendship is also bright, like the sun and the stars.
If we were in a competition for friendships, we would get a gold,
Because responsibility and cleverness are the keys we hold.

I met you as a stranger, took you as a friend.
I hope our long friendship will never end.
Our friendship is like a magnet; it pulls us together,
Because no matter where we are, our friendship will last forever!

A Friend Is Like A Valentine
By Joanna Fuchs

A friend is like a Valentine,
Heartwarming, bringing pleasure,
Connected to good feelings,
With memories to treasure.

Seeing a special Valentine
Brings happiness to stay,
And that is what you do, friend,
You brighten every day!

My Valentine Friend
By Joanna Fuchs

Valentine’s Day reminds me
how meaningful my feelings are for you.
You have a special place in my world
that no one else could fill.
Out of your overflowing heart,
you add color and light to my life.
You continually cross my mind,
like a precious dose of sunshine,
lighting me up inside--
as I think of you
and the lasting memories
we have created together.
No Valentine gift
is as precious to me
as you are,
my Valentine friend.

“How Do I Love Thee?”
by Elizabeth Barrett Browning

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,—I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!—and, if God choose,

“Come Slowly, Eden” b
y Emily Dickinson

Come slowly, Eden
Lips unused to thee.
Bashful, sip thy jasmines,
As the fainting bee,
Reaching late his flower,
Round her chamber hums,
Counts his nectars—alights,
And is lost in balms

I Love You
© Harry Boslem

I can't talk to you without feeling honor.
I can't see you without feeling wonder.
I can't touch you without feeling pure.
I can't feel you without wanting more.
I can't hold you without feeling safe.
I can't kiss you without feeling great.
I can't miss you without feeling pain.
I can't meet you without wanting to again.
I can't watch you without feeling awe.
I can't love you without feeling loved.
I can't lay with you without feeling passion.
I can't stay away without feeling rationed.
I can't dream of you without sleeping soundly.
I can't cope without you around me.
I can't sleep without you in the bed.
I can't be alive without feeling your breath.
I can't think without you on my mind.
I can't leave without feeling unkind,
But most of all,
I can't exist without you in my life.
